Guardasil for Men
Merck Cancer Shot Cuts Genital Warts, Lesions in Men
By Michelle Fay Cortez and Shannon Pettypiece
Nov. 13 (Bloomberg)—Merck & Co.’s Gardasil shot, used to prevent cervical cancer in women, slashed the risk of genital warts and pre-cancerous lesions by 90 percent in men, according to the largest study of the vaccine in males.
Merck said it will use the data to seek U.S. approval to sell Gardasil for males this year to protect against warts and the lesions, which may lead to cancer of the penis and anus. The shot protects against the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus, or HPV.

November is National Diabetic Month and while we may not all be diabetic, we certainly are people who are growing by leaps and bounds in weight and girth everywhere and everyday. Our diets have come down to fastest, fattest, and we are king sizing ourselves to death literally. A discussion of the facts follows with most information coming from the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. Look for more articles on diabetes to follow this one.

It is so unfortunate how uneducated the general public is when it comes to history and the desire by some to gain power at all costs.
The following paragraph gives some explanation as to the state our country is presently in, and why our people have reached the point of following blindly whoever they think can or will give them what they think they deserve:
" All forms of government eventually destroy themselves by carrying their basic principles to excess. The first is monarchy, whose principle is unity of rule. Carried to excess, the rule is too unified. A Monarch takes too much power. The Aristocracy rebel and establish an aristocracy whose main principle is that selected families rule.
(continued)
Note: Disorder grows to such a point that society will abandon all its liberty to anyone who can restore order !! "

Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer
By Ali Sina
I must confess, I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident, a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi 'religious' impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact, he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of 'Malignant Self Love,' also believes, 'Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist.'
Note: We suggest a Google for Dr. Sam Vaknin for more information. This is the most frightening yet. Maybe because it is more clinical than political. This was reported much prior to Nov. 4, 2008

Exclusive: Axelrod’s Mastery - Goebbels 2.0
Claude "Inky" Benson
Perhaps the most difficult aspect for people under 60 or 70 years old to comprehend about the rise of Nazi power in Germany is how the intelligent German people did not see it coming and allowed it to occur. It is difficult to comprehend the effects of sublimely effective propaganda when caught under its influence.
With that in mind, let’s be clear from the start—Barack Obama is not Adolph Hitler, has no “final solution” plan, evidences no intention whatsoever to run armies through neighboring countries in a totalitarian effort to establish the superior Aryan race throughout the world and so on. Any reference to the Nazi experience must be done only in the most delicate manner.
That being said, if Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s master propagandist, were alive today, the Barack Obama Show is precisely what he would produce for the current America.

While most people who have type 2 diabetes or who are at high risk for the disease are aware they have an increased risk of foot and leg infections and amputations, some still do not seek specialist care in time to prevent amputation, according to a new survey released by the American Podiatric Medical Association.
The survey, conducted by an independent research firm, included 600 people who had type 2 diabetes (75 percent) or had a family member with diabetes (25 percent) and were considered at risk for the disease. Eighty-nine percent of the respondents had health insurance. Ten percent of the respondents had foot or leg ailments that developed into infections and 20 respondents had experienced an amputation because of diabetes.

Freddie Mae Needs a Fannie Smack - October 2, 2008
Where did the financial crisis begin? I don’t really think that one can pinpoint an answer, however, there are a couple of huge players that we need to examine. In 1977, during the Carter Administration, Congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act designed to force banks and savings and loan associations to offer credit to their entire service area, prohibiting them from a practice called “redlining” which basically was catering to wealthier neighborhoods. In other words, they were forced to loan equally in other neighborhoods for home ownership and small business startups. It seemed like a good idea at the time, to prevent discrimination and to allow people of median incomes the opportunity to be homeowners.
Note: Abraham Lincoln said 200 plus years ago, “You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich and you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should be doing for themselves.”
If you vote to continue the government give-away, if you elect or re-elect those who have been part of the problem, then you are part of the problem.

Mailed 10/13/08 [Columbus Day] to: David Letterman; The Late Show; cbsmailbag@aol.com
Re: John McCain's appearence on The Late Show.
Hello Dave -
I do truly dislike Jay Leno so I have been a loyal and devoted fan and audience of your show for MANY years, as a fact, for as long as you've been on CBS. I always thought you were a better replacement for Johnny Carson than Leno since you had more of Johnny's admirable traits and a sense of honesty about you.
With that said, I have to say there sure is going to be a void in that timeslot for me now because I can't stand your slant and sludge politically any longer. So, ya see, I have moved from "Love you, Dave, you sure remind me of my dear cousin, Frank" to "It disturbs me to watch you" in a very short time, it seems. I don't know if I will ever be able to see you in the same light again.

The financial crisis being debated in Washington at present is a continuation of a debate which has existed since our very first president, and has resulted in several assassinations of our Presidents. Unknown to most, the debate and problems causing the debate originate in our central bank [The Federal Reserve] and it's probable connection to the central banks of Europe, and the strangle hold all of these privately owned banks maintain over world commerce, and industry.

If you drop a frog in boiling water he will leap right
out. If you slowly heat the water he will be content until
it's too late to get out. That is exactly how history
works. It moves slowly and we never really see any danger
until it's too late.
Remember how suppressed workers were before unions came
along? The unions leveled the playing field.
Unfortunately, over a long period of time the pendulum
swung too far. Slowly, businesses and factories closed and
jobs left the country. We were comfortable and didn't
see the change coming. We blamed everyone except ourselves
for what happened. We weren't alert to how slow things
change over time.

Does this disturb you?
Rich Carroll articulates the thoughts that have been on many people's minds. There's too much question surrounding Obama and Michelle's real ideology. Too many sinister associations make me suspicious. Also his past is still a blank. Have you ever thought about where Obama gets all his campaign money---more than Hillary or McCain put together in such a short span of time?
The Jihad Candidate
by Rich Carroll
Conspiracy theories make for interesting novels when the storyline is not so absurd that it can grasp our attention. 'The Manchurian Candidate' and 'Seven Days in May' are examples of plausible chains of events that captures the reader's imagination at best-seller level. 'What if' has always been the solid grist of fiction.
Get yourself something cool to drink, find a relaxing position, but before you continue, visualize the television photos of two jet airliners smashing into the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan and remind yourself this cowardly act of Muslim terror was planned for eight years.

Washington seems to be able to concentrate on any issue which may collect a few votes, but continues to turn a deaf ear to our insurmountable debt we are leaving behind for our heirs.
Few people know that our Federal Reserve System is not a part of our Government, but is privately owned by private stock holders.
A DVD titled "The money masters" information available at "Moneymasters.com" should be viewed by all interested citizens.

This English teacher has phrased it the best.
Tomatoes and Cheap Labor
CHEAP TOMATOES?
This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent
From a California school teacher - - -
"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic
and income levels
Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.
Note: THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR ANY PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'
